Over six months, 189 mothers contributed a sentence using the phrase ‘Motherhood is…’, and/or a portrait picture of themselves drawn by their children. The aim was to represent their experiences of mothering during the the first national lock-down of the pandemic. The sentences and images were self published into this zine.
